Will my child's academics suffer if they pursue sports or arts seriously?
This is the most common concern we hear, and the honest answer is no. Khaitan’s structure is designed so that practice, training, and performance are integrated into the school day, not pulled out of academic hours. Our K-PEP and ASSEP frameworks ensure structured progression, and our students have consistently delivered strong CBSE results alongside national and state-level achievements in sports and arts. Discipline, not deprivation, is the model.
My child is just getting started. Will they fit in with kids who are already advanced?
Every child enters at a different level, and our programs are built to meet them there. Whether your child is exploring an art form for the first time or already performing competitively, our educators design a personal pathway. The goal is progress, not comparison.
What is the difference between visual arts and performing arts at KPS?
Visual Arts at KPS includes Drawing & Painting, Printmaking, Sculpture & Clay Modelling, and Ceramic Pottery — taught by 9 dedicated art educators in specialized studios. Performing Arts includes Hindustani Vocal, Western Vocal, Bharatanatyam, Kathak, Western Dance, Guitar, Keyboard, Tabla & Percussion, Drums, and Theatre. Both are full-fledged departments with structured curricula.
Does the school offer competitive-level training in sports?
Yes. Beyond regular physical education, our specialised disciplines — Swimming, Roller Skating, Taekwondo, and Shooting — are led by trained coaches and offer structured pathways to certifications and competitive exposure. We also have partnerships with elite sports academies for advanced athletes.
What kind of stage time will my child get? Is it just the annual function?
Far more than that. We host Kala Parv (a campus-wide art festival), Meraki, inter-house competitions, Srijan Clubs, and regular showcases throughout the year. Stage exposure is built into the calendar, not reserved for a single annual event.
What are the school timings?
For Class I to XII: Summer 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Winter 7:50 a.m. to 2:50 p.m. For Nursery, LKG, UKG: Summer 8:40 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., Winter 8:55 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Does the school provide transportation?
Yes. Fully air-conditioned buses are available for students across multiple routes covering Ghaziabad and surrounding NCR areas.
